Admission Requirements
The Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Management is a degree completion program designed for students who already have some college credits or an associate's degree. You are eligible for admission to this degree if you have completed at least 60 semester credits of transferable coursework with a 2.0 or better grade point average (GPA).
To begin, you must choose as your home campus one of four collaborating University of Wisconsin campuses.

UWRF will review your application to ensure that you meet admissions requirements. Upon admission, you will receive instructions on how to register for classes. Your advisor, Dr. Bob Baker, will be available to assist you with selecting your classes.
Graduation Requirements
Your degree at UW-River Falls will be granted by the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences. Here is how the credits are allocated.
Your credits transferred from previous college course work or associate’s degree:
- General Education (40 - 41 credits)
- Including one course in multidisciplinary inquiry at the 300 level or above (3 credits)
- American Cultural Diversity (3 credits)
- Global Perspectives (3 credits)
- Additional Sustainable Management Statistics Prerequisite (3 credits)
- General Electives (10 - 11 credits)
Credits you will earn through the Sustainable Management program:

To graduate, your last 30 semester credits must be taken through UW-River Falls and you will have to maintain a GPA average of 2.25 among your Sustainable Management courses.

University Center
Opened in 2007, the new University Center serves as a regional model of a sustainable or green building. Through its construction and its continuing operations the building showcases the University’s commitment to sustainability. University Center provides services for the entire campus community and provides updates on the campus progress toward sustainability.
Library
The Chalmer Davee Library provides resources and services to support the curriculum and mission of the UW-River Falls. Online students have full access to the library’s collections and resources through a robust web page.
Career Services
All UWRF students may use the comprehensive career planning services and resources provided through the Career Services office. In particular, the office maintains a web page on the Top Green Careers that may be useful for Sustainable Management graduates.
